: A network game can be a public internet host, a private internet host or a local network host. There is always a game going on, somewhere. : When you are bored of playing against computer players, you can join a network game. : If you place in the top 3 in a game, you win a lure that you will keep for the rest of the cup. The winner of the cup is the player with the highest score after all lakes in the cup is finished. : First 6 places in each game get cup points. Medium difficulty will be 7 lakes against 9 computer players and in Hard difficulty it will be 10 lakes against 14 computer players. : In Easy difficulty you will be competing on 4 different lakes against 5 computer players. Beware that in Easy difficulty no records will be recorded. First time you only have the option to choose Easy or Medium difficulty, Hard difficulty isn't available until you finish the Medium difficulty. : Then you can select race length and difficulty. First time select Start a new cup, and off you go. Start a new cup, or continue an existing cup. : When you start a short cup you have two options. : Short cup is just what it sound like, a short cup with randomized lakes and game types. The last minute of the game you will be reminded of this by a ticking sound, and red-blinking countdown timer. And you have to return to the start area to weigh the fish before time runs out, or else you get disqualified. : You compete against 5 computer-players in fulfilling the goal of the game type. See game type index for full overview of game types. : The game types that can be played depends on the lake you have chosen. : The game duration can be chosen to be 10min, 15min, 30min, 1h, 1.5h or 2h. As with practice, choose lake, starting place (if the chosen lake have more than one starting place), season and time of day, but in single game you also choose game duration and game type. : Play a single game against computer players.
